Q + A
Where is the Ceremony taking place?
The ceremony will take place at Risen Christ Catholic Church in Boise Idaho.
Will you be having a full Catholic Mass?
Yes
How long is a Catholic ceremony?
A full catholic ceremony can take from one hour to one and a half hours. For our non Catholic friends, don't worry we will have pamphlets to help guide you along.
You are having a Scottish themed wedding, are there any traditional pieces you are going to do?
Yes, we will do a handfasting at the reception venue as well. This is great news for those who may not necessarily want to go to a Catholic ceremony, but still want to see some kind of ceremonial moment.
Are wearing kilts and tartans required?
No, as much as the bride wishes she could enforce that ;) If you do wear a tartan please avoid wearing the Stewart colors as that is the bridal parties colors.
Is there anything happening on Saturday after the wedding?
Yes! The brides family will have an open house where guests can come and hang out with the newlyweds anytime from 11am-6pm. The Newlyweds will then head over to a haunted corn maze. Everyone is welcome to go as well and to hang out.
